Astronomers said this intriguing planet, called Gliese 12 b, orbits a small star about 40 light-years away in the constellation Pisces. The star, a cool red dwarf, is approximately 27% the size of our Sun and has 60% of its temperature. This makes it a theoretically habitable “exoplanet”.
